A method of reading
Rhinoplasty is not a single technique but a method of reading the face. Each consultation in the clinic begins not at the nose but at the whole face: forehead height, lip curvature, jaw line, the lateral canthus of the eye. The nose’s place inside that frame determines the outcome.
Dr. Çam’s approach is to build aesthetics without losing function: the airway, septum and turbinates are evaluated at the start of surgery, and the aesthetic steps are planned not to compromise the breath.
How a week unfolds
The average stay in Istanbul is seven days. The clinic sequences the calendar for visiting patients as follows:
- Day 1. In-person consultation, photography, 3D analysis.
- Day 2. Day of surgery; one night at the clinic.
- Day 3–9. Daily follow-up, oedema management, suture removal (day 5) and splint removal (around day 10).
What “natural” means
A natural result is not the comparison between two photographs after surgery — it is a nose that, ten years later, still looks like your nose. The clinic’s position is clear: never produce a form that does not belong to the character of the face.

What is the difference between open and closed rhinoplasty?
Open technique uses a tiny incision on the columella and gives the surgeon three-dimensional access. Closed technique keeps every incision inside the nose; less swelling, shorter recovery. The choice is made per case based on anatomy, skin thickness and goals.
Is a natural result possible?
Naturality is the clinic's central aim. We avoid heavy-handed alterations that read as "operated" — instead the result is a nose that matures with the face over the years.
How does the recovery unfold?
First week: mild swelling and bruising. Day 10: the external splint is removed. Month 3: the new shape becomes legible. Month 12: the final result. Every follow-up is conducted personally by Dr. Çam.
How does it work for international patients?
Process begins with an online consultation. When suitable, a one-week visit to Istanbul is scheduled — consultation, surgery, suture removal and splint removal all happen in that window. The clinic offers guidance for accommodation and transfers.
Can it be combined with septoplasty?
In many patients the septum deviates inside and reduces breathing quality. In those cases rhinoplasty and septoplasty are planned in the same session — known as septorhinoplasty.
